Food is our passion! Over the past several years, we have turned our attention to developing strong kitchen teams in each Duke Pub. We are committed to good cooking and excellent kitchen practices and we are always looking to enhance our culinary teams.
We currently have a programme in place to help our kitchen personnel attain their Red Seal certification and we are working together with George Brown College to put together an apprentice programme.

This position requires five years of experience in the hospitality industry, of which at least two must involve managerial responsibility. A diploma or degree in hospitality management or enrollment in such a program is a strong asset.
The bartender position requires three years of experience in the hospitality industry either in a hotel or in pubs or restaurants of a comparable style and quality. A love of English and European football (soccer) is a strong asset.
Our servers require two years of serving in the hospitality industry, preferably in a hotel or pub environment, or restaurant of a similar style. A passion for providing quality service and an eagerness to connect with guests is a must.
This position requires one year of experience in the hospitality industry. As one of the first faces our guests will see, our hosts/hostesses are welcoming and professional. Strong organizational skills are required and sales experience is a strong asset.
Minimal experience is required for this position – it is an entry-level role.
As the second-in-command or part of a larger team you will have a great deal of responsibility for the daily operation of a kitchen and you will participate in the development of our cooks.
