Accessibility Professionals of Ontario supply our braille and large print menus that enable us to provide hospitable service to the visually impaired. Together, we work toward the goal of breaking down barriers that prevent people with disabilities from fully participating in our society.
The Duke Pubs are proud supporters of the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Canada – Ontario. The Duke of Ed Award programme believes that not all learning happens in the classroom and their aim is to help equip young Canadians aged 14-24 for success in life. The Award empowers them to discover hidden talents, develop untapped leadership potential, make a difference in their community and explore the wonders of the great outdoors. The personal journey to earn the Award requires young people to look beyond their comfort zone and tap into their sense of discovery. Participants set and achieve personal goals in activities they want to experience and develop, making each Award a unique journey.
The Duke Pubs are excited to work with the team at the Duke of Edinburgh International Award Canada – Ontario to help ensure this youth development program remains accessible and barrier-free to all young people including at-risk youth and youth living in low socio-economic situations.
This new partnership with the Adelaide Club has been a great success so far. We love the idea of promoting healthy living to our guests and our employees and we’d like to acknowledge Dr. Selene Wilkinson, Naturopathic Doctor, of the Adelaide Health Clinic for her help with our menu for gluten-sensitive guests (available at the Duke of Westminster and Duke of Somerset).
The duck we use in the Devon’s Crispy Duck Salad comes from King Cole Ducks located in Newmarket, just north of Toronto. Started by the Murby Family in 1951, this farm is the only fully vertically integrated farm in North America – every step of their farming process is done in house and hands on.
Located in Dashwood, Ontario, just three hours west of Toronto, Hayter’s Farm is a third generation family-run farm. The Hayter Family provides us with the fresh, delicious turkey you’ll find in our Old-Fashioned Turkey Club.
The Duke of Devon is located on the concourse level of the TD Tower, on the east side of the tower just north of Wellington Street West. Just follow the signs – you can't miss it!
